We just found out that we are expecting a little GIRL at the end of November. I'm amazed, awed and totally in love with the thought that our precious Segen is going to be a big brother. Bring on the pink!

After waiting for just the "right" moment and after mapping-out what we thought were the most "important" aspects of our married life, we decided it was the perfect time to add a baby to our family! But...that's when things became a bit more complicated than we had anticipated. So now we're living...Life In a Holding Pattern.

Our Journey So Far...
- August 2009: Taking time away from blogging to focus on our little man.
- June 16th 2009: Our little blessing makes his first, much anticipated appearance! Happy Birthday, Segen!
- January 2009: Baby shows off his boy-parts for all to see. We're having a little dude!
- November 2008: Graduate from the care of RE. Regular appointments with OB begin.
- October 2008: Freakin' BFP! Start Hepa.rin shots at 11 dpo.
- September 2008: Appointment with hemotologist. New blood thinning protocol for pregnancy. Given "green light" to get it on!
- August 2008: Saline sonogram. RE says she's 99% sure its a BU. Blood and chromosomal testing all come back "normal."
- July 2008: Diagnosed with an abnormal Factor V Leiden gene = blood clotting disorder. Referred to a hematologist. First appointment available, September.
- July 2008: First appointment with Reproductive Endocrinologist
- June 2008: HSG confirms bicornuate or septate uterus…??
- May 23, 2008: Second D&C
- May 16, 2008: First D&C
- May 16, 2008: Ultrasound tech dx bicornuate uterus
- May 16, 2008: 10 weeks, 1 day. No heartbeat found. Possible molar pregnancy. The big “c” word (cancer) is used.
- March 2008: BFP!!
- September 2007-March 2008: Not really trying, not really preventing
- August 2007: Threw-out BCP's
- 2005-2007: Enjoyed travel, bought a new house, started a new job
- July 2005: Married!

Hey Mel, its Lesley from Butterfly on My Shoulder! This is awesome news!! How has your pregnancy been going? We have two now too- our younger son is 10 months. It is crazy here!!

Oh my goodness! Thank you for sharing and I hope all is going well.
Yay!! So exciting for you guys!! :) Everything is going well over here and we are beginning preperations to make sure we have everything we need for our next little man! Really only need the essentials...more cloth diapers, some bottles, and maybe a few new sleepers and we should be good to go! Other than the room...lol
Blaze is doing wonderful now! I am so glad he didn't end up having cancer like we thought and only had a severe liver infection. We are so thankful. He does so well with Aiden...lets him walk on him, bounce on him, play with his big ol' feet :) It's awesome to watch them interact. Hope all is going well with this pregnancy for you guys! It was great hearing from you!!
